Nowadays Wi fi camera is a have to have while trailing with such a long combo of truck and trailer. The wi fi would be pretty easy tech add for CT.
BTY... Nice Elon is staying with Tesla even though he hates the Tesla's constant required pressure.
Maybe its not worth be the second riches man on the planet to run a juggernaut like Tesla?

I think he's critical to Tesla right now, it's too early for him to step back. EVs are still gaining traction and many people don't understand them. There is a huge amount of FUD and the media is shockingly bad at reporting on the facts around Tesla. He needs to continue to be it's figurehead, with him Tesla needs no advertising and people listen to him. I'd also like to see the Semi gain critical mass.

I also think his relentless drive to do things better and cheaper help Tesla push the envelope. There will be a time where he can step back, but not yet.
.
Selfishly I would like him to work on electric planes next.

Elon’s exit strategy? SpaceX.

SpaceX can cross the planet point-to-point with Starships. SpaceX disrupts transcon and International overseas air routes. Leftover are shorthop commuter players like Southwest - small planes really. Tesla sees consolidation not growth in airlines. Tesla can furnish energy, technology and BEpower systems without building the whole enchilada (factory, airframe, workforce, lobby and tarmac operations).

Elon has maybe 3 more Giga and 1 Tera battery factory plus Semi, Roadster2 and a Van left in his tank. Then, transition if Tesla has no further runway clear to innovate.

Agreed.

I'm fascinated with the idea of the Starships to replace long haul flights. Kind of mind blowing and at first I thought it was silly, but the more I read about it the more I came to appreciate how plausible it is.

I think your timeline is about right because at that point they'll have most of the major segments covered. I don't think he needs to be there for the $25K vehicle honestly, as much as that may be the biggest volume seller, especially outside the USA. That seems like a shrunk Model Y pretty much, with castings and structural battery pack. They just need the volume and battery price to be low enough.

Honestly, I've been hoping to see a Tesla plane, from scratch... I just suspect they'll do something more interesting with a whole plane, but I'm ignorant of the work involved so it might be just not worth it.

Guys this means anything with a Wi-Fi camera could potentially be used with the CT! Can anyone say undermounted wifi camera? I hope they make this available in the off-road mode.

Nice to see Musk dribbling out new details on the Cybertruck again.

Hopefully this is a hint that deliveries are going to start around EOY as scheduled.
Minimal design changes from what was shown 2 years ago would suggest as much.

I'd heard of them. Just isn't clear yet whether Tesla intends to integrate with existing cameras out there.
