Edit: Forum formatting duplicated screenshot pics. Fixed errors, and added piece that luckily Tesla opened up Lunar editions on their store for US customers.

So, this is a continuation of the thread: https://www.cybertruckownersclub.co...lunar-new-year-tesla-bot.53978/#post-30767373

The TL;DR of this article is I need to read better and pay attention to listings, but also CyberGear has sold me a fake Optimus figure. I figured I would share this feedback in case they choose to list other items in the future in a similar fashion, and to be cautious when purchasing items from them. Coincidently, a 80 dollar figure is going to be the reason I don't order the center console organizer shelf, side steps, Molle trunk shelf and front bumper bar, but regardless I have requested a prepaid shipping label to return the fake and will keep this thread updated on resolution.

For those that want to read (and see pics) continue below:
Cybergearco has sold me a fake Tesla Diner themed Optimus figure. On February 3rd, they posted a listing on this forum for the Lunar edition of the Optimus figure. My daughter and I collect the different themes, and have all but the shareholder themed bot. (if anyone can help me get one I would be very grateful) So when this Lunar one was circulating X I figured this would be when it ends. I was thrilled to see Cybergearco listed the lunar bot:

I was not happy that this was a randomized approach with pull rates (10% chance to get a Tesla diner bot) when I wanted the Lunar themed bot and a mixture of mixed wording between the cybertruck owners club post and then the site listing:

This was on me that I didn't check out the description around a ambiguous "mysterious guest" and the pull rate description (which is still confusing because the cybergear post on these forums made it sound like this was for Lunar in limited supply, but I digress.)

I raised this with Cybergear customer support and got the following reply, which is fine:

What is not fine, is the Tesla Optimus bot that they sent is fake. I have validated this with folks near the diner that have gone in and showed me on FaceTime the back of the package, as well as listings on eBay:

My fake figure:

The difference - The legit Optimus diner (and all the other Optimus version) all have the following part number, desc, and QR code on the back. Mine does not (all of my other editions do (Christmas, Regular, my OTHER diner Optimus I already own.))

This is just straight up annoying. I'll be escalating the dispute regardless but giving cybergearco the opportunity to let me return this and get the refund. Figured worth reporting as they also sell accessories that are several hundred dollars. I have their Inner side Molle panel kit that is installed right now in the back of my truck, and I love it as an accessory but will not be proceeding with more accessories while I build out my truck. Luckily as well for our collection, Tesla opened up orders for the Lunar version for US customers about a week after CyberGear posted their thread, so we are yet again saved!

Thanks for reading if you made it this far.
