After years of lurking on this forum, I’m beyond thrilled to finally post as a proud Cybertruck owner! Three years ago, I reserved a Foundation Series but held off because the cost was just too steep at the time. Well, I crunched the numbers, God blessed me, and today I drove home in my very own AWD Cybertruck. Today was a dream come true!

The second I got behind the wheel I couldn’t stop smiling. Ive worked really hard to get to this point and it’s surreal. I’ve never owned a vehicle this nice. My wife’s Model Y is great, but the Cybertruck is on another level of cool (she thinks the CT is ugly as sin).

I’m planning a PPF wrap (gun matte gray) booked with Alset San Diego. As a new owner, I’d love to hear your advice. What are the must-have aftermarket accessories or mods you recommend? Anything from practical to styling I’m open to suggestions. What’s the one accessory you wish you’d gotten sooner? Also, any tips for tires and wheels? I want to go with something more aggressive but not totally impractical and was also considering some 50mm spacers but not sure.

Thanks for being such a great community and letting me get in her and be all giddy. I’m sure the magic had worn off to some degree for a lot of you OGs. Anyway I’m stoked to finally be part of the Cybertruck crew!

Cheers,

BMG

Enjoy! All I have is bed and tailgate mats. The original surface is impossible to get clean if it gets muddy. I also bought the hub caps from Amazon bc I still haven’t received wheel coves promised when I bought my CT LAST July. At some point I will make or buy cross bars or a rack.

Welcome and Congrats!!
The best advice is to NOT let your wife drive it. I made that mistake trying to explain why I've been so excited over the past five years, and now my wife wants to take it EVERY DAY. This woman hates running errands, but now I hear her saying as she walks to the door, "Taking the truck to the store, be right back."

For real though, here are my top 10.
1) FSD!
2) Tint (I didn't do it yet, but now that its getting hot, its a must)
3) Floor Mats https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CYG5L55R?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
4) Frunk Hooks, to keep your bags or take out from sliding around https://teslaunch.net/collections/c...s-for-tesla-cybertruck?variant=46774467985631
5) AC Tire pump, keep those tires at 50psi https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C1GL5T7G?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
6) Screen Protector
7) Windshield Cleaner Tool https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CFZLPT7B?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
8) Mag Phone Holder (to watch YouTube while the truck drives you around)https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D8765KM7?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
9) Under Seat Storage, I keep umbrellas under the front seats and under the rear seat, keep a tire pump, cleaning supplies, etc.
10) Cool License Plate frame https://www.etsy.com/listing/1717907620/cybertruck-graffiti-stainless-steel?ref=yr_purchases

Welcome and congratulations! I have only purchased a few accessories:

Roof rack from Mars AG, I bought this so that I can mount my tent, kayaks and any other item that needs to ride flat on the roof, I chose it over others because the sides have enough mount points that you can move the rails back and forth as needed and even remove them over the front of the bed if you are hauling something that would otherwise hit the rear rail:

https://marsag.co/products/tesla-cybertruck-mars-expedition™-rack-full

Bed hooks and D-Rings: I bought some on Amazon rather than get the OEM ones.

Window washer tool with extension to reach forward.

I bought a window tint kit but haven't installed it yet. I haven't priced professional installs in my area.

Tire repair kit (you can carry your own 120V compressor of choice in the bed): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01E635PGA

Visor extensions (I really like these): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BZ3VNCCF

A lifetime supply of windshield washer concentrate: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N1S3JG8

First off, CONGRATS!! You're gonna absolutely love it. I came from a 2020 Model Y (and wife has a 2024 Model 3, previously she had a 2021 Model 3), and the CT is worlds better. :D

For recommended accessories, this is a really good thread: https://www.cybertruckownersclub.co...-and-underused-mods-on-your-cybertruck.34891/

For me, the must haves are:
  1. All weather floor mats
  2. If you have a dog: Rear dog seat cover (hammock style)
    1. Tesla Pet Liner (only for the rear door covers)
  3. L-track cleats, D-Rings if you need tie down points.

I agree on tint (15%) and do the windshield (30%) and you can thank me later for that.
How much does the tint run? I am still waiting for mine, held up for the recall. But live in Az so tint is a must. 30% on the windshield seems like a lot no?

You will want to check around locally, the windshield takes 2-3 people and cost around $1,000 I remember and no 30% is NOT too much, I was worried it would be buts its perfect!
