Looks like you have a .06c balance to me!

Lol jkjk that's awesome congrats.

I just broke the 20k barrier on my MYP.

I was rushing super hard but with a 1.25% interest rate it felt right to slow down the payments and invest that $$ instead

Congrats on paying off the loan!

I did the same, then turned around and did the FSD transfer/ new Tesla purchase three days later. Will be using half the proceeds from selling my dinosaur/swamp burner when first new loan payment arrives mid-October and $12,500 tax refund March 2024 to get the loan balance down to a 12 month payoff...just in time for Cybertruck!

Other half of proceeds from selling ICE-mobile went to $TSLA. Might do the same with my tax refund. All excess cash goes to $TSLA.

Felt great to payoff my M3P. Just in time for the Cybertruck. I'm around 12k in line!

Should have seen the look I got from the teller at my credit union when I said "I like to payoff my Tesla" :)

My 2018 M3 was sold to me new for 66 K CAD plus 13% GST = 74 K CAD, which I paid for with a certified cheque.

But in 2018, our provincial government in Ontario was offering a $14 K CAD grant which the newly elected conservatives cancelled. It took 6 months but I finally got the grant.

Also, I had a 2010 golf diesel wagon, which VW lied about the emessions so they bought it back from me in 2017 for around $`14 K CAD (1/2 of what I paid for it with 250 K km on it).

So the M3 actually only cost me 38 K CAD (plus $8.58 K CAD in taxes).

I have probably saved at least $20 k CAD in fuel, oil changes and repairs (brakes), so even if I only get 30 K CAD (low mileage- under 100 k km) for my trade-in, it will help offeset the price of a CT which will probably be over 100 k CAD.

How do you feel about moving from a Tesla with the best drag coefficient to one with the worse (probably)?

The heck with practicality. How about one of these slippery babies instead?

Then again, you can get 20 CTs with the same money.
