It’s shiny! I wasn’t planning on wrapping until I saw yours. Please post more pics when you have time.
Will do!

Can you post a few more daytime pics?
Will do!

Great job: Just received my foundation two days ago and have been reading about what to wrap it with. Now I am coming across UPPF which as I understand it is clear protection. In your wrap this is UPPF with color correct? 8-10 mils. More protection self healing all that?
Thanks and congrats! yes i would definitely spend the extra money on PPF, its 10 years versus 3 with regular vinyl. UPPF is great because they offer the most color choices, its hydrophobic and self healing.

Seems like that chrome steel picks up whatever color is reflected in it, so the color will change any time it’s photographed. As for the cost, does that kind of material cost more that typical wrap materials? Did you get the door sills, frunk or rear bumpers protected too? Seems like sharing what it cost you would be helpful to other new owners who are getting the exact same vehicle. Price should be relatively the same aside for extra add ons like ceramic coating or extra material, right?
you are right, i've noticed my ppf needs perpendicular light to show the hint of bronze, otherwise it looks charcoal. prices depend on brand, color choices (and size of vehicle).
Ballpark vinyl range $2500-$3500
Ballpark PPF range $4950-$5500
Looks fantastic.
You wrote color is "Chrome Steel". Did you mean Chrome Bronze or Chrome Silver?
Color looks bronze to me.
I definitely have chrome steel (that's the name of the color) looks charcoal, but has a hint of bronze. The chrome bronze is lighter and more bronze.

Like it. Best I ave seen so far. I was a strong no on doing a wrap. Yours may have changed my mind.
You won't regret it!
Ceramic coat the wrap?
its not necessary according to UPPF, but i did it myself
I would like to say that I don’t appreciate you stealing my idea, before I could think of it. ?

In all seriousness, it really does look good though.
appreciate it!
Got your tux on, to drive the CT? Name is Bond... But seriously, I bet mud amd dust just slide off? Nobody has mentioned just how these wraps are cleaned or detailed? Please?
I haven't tried mud yet, but dust falls off pretty easily. I am going off road 4/18 so I'll see how it does then. I've had wraps before and you can wash it with regular car was soap and water. I even used a pressure waster on mine. The water just glides off, and you can use an air blower to remove any sitting water. Way easier to clean than the raw stainless steel or any automotive paint.
to add extra layers of protection.

Did you happen to get it done for free? I plan to stop by local shops ask for free in return for some posts here and leaving it parked out front for a negotiated time or number of times.

Love it!!

Best wrap I’ve seen
Went to a seasoned detailer yesterday for PPF 10 mil he quoted $9500 which includes the ceramic coating. That is 10%of the cost of the foundation. In my opinion that is to much. I would do $5500 as Tesler is a at $6-6500. can we get you detailer?

I’m paying customer. I hope you find a local shop to sponsor you though.

That seems excessive. The guy I went to is half that. Ceramic coating should be about $700. Or easy enough to do yourself in 6 hours.

Goodbye fingerprints!

As much as I like the look of the raw stainless steel, I didn’t like cleaning it or finding new strangers fingerprints on it either. This is the first time I went with PPF and I must say it is a huge difference compared to regular vinyl. It’s already hydrophobic, twice as thick, more rock chip resistant and it self heals.

I got it wrapped at Elevance in Hawaiian gardens, California. They did a great job. Hit up Steve the owner.

I really love how it turned out. It’s obviously more black at night but a hint of bronze in sunlight.
