No, I don't expect a new model reveal for the Cyber line until 2022. They need to master the production line, first.

The Model Y was unveiled exactly two years after the first Model 3 shipped, even though we knew it was an eventuality.

i'm sure this machine is much more expensive than these guesses.
my question is, is this cast aluminum we're talking about under the CT?

Yes, but.

It's the internal structure under the bed and around the motors and suspension. It's not exposed in the Y, either. In the Y, it's the crash bars and back of the cabin.

oh yeah, i get that it's the rear structure, was just wondering if it's cast aluminum. and i imagine there may be an additional covering for aerodynamics beneath it all.

I wonder if the new foundations being put down in Austin indicate they're starting with two of these.

I hope so! If it means a faster production line? I am already expecting my place in line to be another year after the initial trucks roll off the line.

To many 8,000 tons is merely a number. To me... an retired underground Longwall Automation Engineer, it’s more like; “Oh My God” what a beast. Longwall Roof Supports contain (2) 350mm bore Hydraulic cylinders requiring some 4,500 psi to achieve something around 1,100 tons of pressure. Folks we’re talking about 8,000 TONS, I wanna tour of the plant when I pick up my CT.

I assume they assemble these monstrosities on site not in Italy

My jaw dropped when I first heard this at minute 5:45. What? 8000 Ib press is already finished?

then it looked like something may have been lost in translation. He may consider taking the order mission accomplished.

The big three probably are in a zoom meeting right now planing how to sabotage the shipment of this when it is finished.
