From Bradley IL (60915) to Willow Grove Camp ground TN.
  • Mostly traveled speed limit to +5 for the entire trip.
  • Roughly 800lbs of gear filling the entire bed of the truck along with a few items filling the back seat floor area and running on ATV tires reading 49psi.
  • Standard mode the entire trip.
  • Fair amount of hills and winding the last 60 miles or so.
  • I did utilize traffic aware cruise for about 85%-90% of the trip.
  • FS Cyberbeast with ATV tires, no hub caps but I do have the common aftermarket smooth caps that cover just he exposed hub and lugs.
  • Wrapped in 3m Matte Military green though I doubt that is of any consequence.
  • 80f-85f outside temp, inside temp set to 72 with seat cooling on.
  • Each time preconditioning battery began 9.5 miles away from charge destination.
I neglected to save the starting trip to the camp ground but it matched exactly to the wh/mile on the return trip home.

If my math is correct I am estimating a 337 mile range on a good 95% highway trip. I am really impressed.

Tesla Cybertruck First real road trip with my Cyberbeast. 365wh/mile over a 436x2 mile trip. 1724467436536-43

That is impressive. I know you said you're driving limit + 5 but what was the limit? Some places that could work out to be 80mph, others 60.

Very nice. I’m averaging (after almost 1,500 miles combo of normal driving) just under 400 wh/Mile. I was hoping for more in the 360/370 range but have yet to get close - and I have an AWD!

On 55 zones, I would average 60mph. On 70 zones, I would stay at 70 unless there was a need to pass. Most things under 55 I would be only 5 over. No zones on the route were over 70 posted limit.

I had a similar experience on my first trip. About 200 miles, average energy - 358 Wh/mi. On the way back, I wasn't as "careful" , and got 373 Wh/mi. Even that was satisfying as it gives me a range of just under 330 miles in a Beast.

I’m assuming standard mode is Comfort mode! My round trip from FL to NJ/PA was around 420wh. The only difference I noticed is 100f temp ( 105 -108 feels like) back in July during the heat wave across East Coast. Oh…another difference was no wrap :)

How many times did you stop to charge? What level would you charge from and to? Where along the route and how long were the charging sessions?
Did you charge back up at the campsite?

I left home within 30 mins of reaching full 100% charge. I stopped 2 times each way following the nav. Each time I stayed a good 5-10min more than needed chatting with folks. I do not recall the exact levels I charged to but it was never over 85% at the chargers. Never was depleted below 30% when arriving anywhere along the trip.

Trip To:
Columbus IN 28min (Arrived at 40% but it estimated I would have been at 19% originally)
Elizabethtown KY 32min (don't recall)

Charged from 53% to 80% at campsite

Return Trip:
Louisville KY 25min (don't recall)
Lebanon IN 22min (don't recall)
Arrived home at 33%

Great thanks for the info!
I just did a road trip in a model y LR from northern Sweden to northern Norway (~8hrs) and so it seemed like a pretty comparable trip. Based on what you said it likely was! We had 2 ~30 min (add another hour for FIKA though 🤣) charging stops up to 80% each way and don't think ever went below 30%. It was my first time driving a Tesla though and everything was in kms so I wasn't sure how accurate it would be compared to the US.
This is great news.

The absolute best wrap so far on the CT. The only thing that could make it better is medium tan leather upholstery.

Just curious as to what your ride height was on the road.
