First long day of driving 680 miles LA to Ashland Oregon, went great. I only got put in Tesla jail one time for too much sightseeing. Great experience!
Driving into Portland this morning and the drive is gorgeous.

Did you take I-5? If so, how did FSD do with the perpetual build up of cars behind trucks in the right lane then the need to speed past said trucks before others cut you off to try and bypass the queue of cars built up behind them when 18 wheelers are in both lanes and then the one that was passing pulls back into the right lane again?

i had wondered how FSD would handle that because it tends to happen over and over again perpetully as you travel along I-5 especially between LA and SF.

thanks for the report!

cheers

Just returned from Ontario. 520 mile trip. FSD installed when I updated at ome. Returning in late Oct and will appreciate the FSD on the long trip. I already love it.

We did drive up the 5…… and yes the right lane build up did happen, but all I did was push the turn indicator on and the CT would switch lanes and with a tap of acceleration would pass on the left. I was easily able to manipulate through that congestion. Worked great!
