Front Camera Black

After the latest update 2024.14.7 my front camera is black. Anyone else have this issue? I had this problem with my MSP100D and the back camera before hopefully it's just software.

Update: new software update fixed the camera

After the latest update 2024.14.7 my front camera is black. Anyone else have this issue? I had this problem with my MSP100D and the back camera before hopefully it's just software.

I started to back out of driveway yesterday and both side cams were black. Checked the cameras in Service Mode, all were OK status and showed a proper preview image.

I did the "two thumb reset" and voilà, I had my side views back.

Same here. Left and right cameras went black. By the time I got home, I got notification of a software update. After reboot, it was fine. Not sure if the reboot or the software update fixed it but definitely try a reboot.

Mine is totally fine after 14.7 upgrade. One thing always puzzling me is how the same release has the different impact on the same hardware of different vehicles. At this stage of CT, all parts unless is faulty are literally the same version.

I did the "two thumb reset" and voilà, I had my side views back.

It was the rear camera that went black for me this weekend. Parked the truck, went back a few hours later, still black so I did the scroll wheel reset as well and it fixed things for mine too.

Scroll Wheel reboot did not fix my problem, Service Menu says dropped frame and has a red box on the cam. I guess it's a service call.

My front camera went black all of a sudden today :/.

Tried power off and two finger reset, no joy.

I looked in the service menu and everything is all green.

I have a service appointment to get my car wrapped through Tesla, so I guess I'll just add it to the list
