Front License Plate mount

For us New Yorkers, has anyone found a decent non-double stick tape front license plate mount?? Seems like (https://everyamp.com/shop/snapplate-plus-tesla-cybertruck-2023/) Every Amp is the only one I can find?

I had problems with mounting a front plate on another car and this company, Sto n Sho made a product that worked great.

They are in Morgan Hill, CA if someone wants to stop by and show them a CT.

It looks like a piece of the bumper can be removed to recess the front plate

My previous Teslas came with a front license plate mount which Tesla installed; I'm sure they'll do the same for CTs delivered to states that require front plates.

Currently have two Teslas that we ordered and took delivery in Maryland (which requires front tags) but neither came with them mounted and we never mounted them ourselves either. Most Teslas simply don’t put them on around here. A few years on and still good to go. Not gonna worry about it with the CT either. A fix it ticket isn’t much after all - and since I live 10 minutes from the West Virginia and Pennsylvania borders (both states require no front plates) I just blend in.

I put my order in Yesterday and I have been tossing and turning about this all night.

Happy to see there is a recess piece and not just some screws into the bumper like a lot of other manufacturers.

I am NY and really don't want the Front Plate on and am willing to roll the dice if the dealer gives me the choice...

I just installed my plates and took some pictures of the front mount. I used a flathead screwdriver to pry off the cover on the front and I broke one of the tabs in the process. I don't see how to get it off without breaking a tab. If you want more pictures let me know.

I live in NJ. Just like my original home (NY), the state requires front plates. My wife and I have been driving vehicles (including a Model S) without front plates for the better part of 10 years. No issues. In fact, we have both been pulled over for other minor discrepancies (tinted windows - also illegal), and they didn’t even notice the front plates were missing
