Trying to decide if this is just where FSD is or is something wrong with mine. Anyone else having this issue? If I was driving, I would be alerted for drifting out of the lane. It doesn’t go all the way over, but too close for my comfort. Thanks!

Same here. I cancel FSD and report the problem. Also some speed limit signs are ignored. I cancel and report that too. Sure would be nice to slow down before getting abreast of lower speed limit sign.

Glad I’m not the only one. FSD on my M3 had a hard time staying between the lines and ultimately needed a new computer. Hope it’s just getting used to 4 wheel steering but weird it’s only the driver side that seems to be an issue.

Same here, and the issue does not affect my Model X or 3. I got a new update last night and I’m hoping it’s been fixed.

Version 12.5.5.2 just installed last night. Hopefully that fixes the problem.

It definitely rides the lines and if there’s a truck in the right lane and I’m in the left it rides the center line only to the start breaking because the truck is riding the line as well. Would be nice to have it center and the adjust depending on obstacles near one line or the other. Ultimately still driving like a teen🤣

Agree, definitely too close for comfort to the side especially when using the left HOV or #1 fast lane. Even when the road is straight. Doesn’t seem to register it needs to move over a bit to the center more when running over reflectors or water drain grates on the left edge of the left most lane, makes the drive very uncomfortable. I cancel out of FSD most of the time or use the right turn signal to have FSD move over to the #2 lane. I report it with the voice record option that appears when I cancel as much as I can. Hope this can be addressed somehow soon.

This is BS. If you record the screen when this is happening it doesn't show the truck on the line. Its simply miscalculating where the lane is or the trucks position relative to the lines. I've even had mine drive on a shoulder, you can be sure people are not doing that with any regularity.

12.5.5.2 is a little better. When turning right, it definitely clips the corner less (prior version would actually drop the right two wheels in the gravel turning in to my street - not now). However it still clips on left turns. If you are in the outer (right) lane of a 2 lane left turn, it still crosses into the inner lane (left tires fully crossed over) unless there is a car right next to you to keep you out. If they are slightly behind you it will totally cut them off. This and school zones/busses are the only things that make me consistently disengage anymore.

Did you recalibrate after getting wrap where they probably removed the cameras?

It's just reality, and a reality that is a problem for Tesla right now.

And there's some reality that the FSD in the Cybertruck is a little behind the cars in Tesla Vision not working quite as well yet. There seem to be times that FSD just doesn't realize how big the truck is, when it works fine in a car.
