I’m ignorant...do you control the speed, or do you set a max speed?
with FSD you set a max, or you can turn on auto max.

Couple questions from novice FSD user, seemed to work great on my commute to work this morning.. Is there a way to program it to start slowing down further away, rather than tailgating so close? I know most ICE vehicles have that ability, not sure if FSD does yet.

Also I accidently, took my eyes off couple times this morning, it disabled the system and then at the end of the route gave me a warning my FSD would be taken away totally if I do it 3 more times. What happens in this case, is it completely gone at that point?
no, I don't think so. That would be useful.

That's unusual. It never tailgates for me unless speeds are less than 10 mph. You can set something like a follow distance in dynamics I believe. Or maybe its an alert.

You got an FSD strike. You can get 5 and previously that mean not FSD until it upgraded but I believe now one goes away each week. So if you get one every other week you should be fine. However, you will find they are pretty easy to avoid.

No one forced you to live in Australia. Elon moved from his place of birth in S. Africa to the United States because he wanted to be where big things were happening in technology. It's a free world.

Unfortunately for those who choose to live in Australia, they will have to wait until less remote areas of the globe are already saturated with this incredible truck. It could take longer than 2027, it depends upon how many Cybertruck production lines Tesla adds, and whether they build them in China in the near term. My guess is you will have to wait for a Texas built Cybertruck. I bet the overseas shipping costs of a Cybertruck would be 1.5X that of a Model 3 or Model Y.
We stay in Oz because they drive on the right side of the ROAD WARRIOR!

I've had FSD for two days now, and it's unbelievable! The first time I used it was yesterday morning. It didn't seem that great. I went to get bagels five minutes from me. It hugged the curb. Leaving my street, it was going to make a right turn when a van was coming around a corner (it's a difficult intersection with 3 streets), and I had to use the brake. I submitted the reason for using the brake. Coming home, it almost missed a left turn onto my street because it tried to hug the curb. I had to grab the steering wheel and force it to turn. I submitted the reason for that also.

In the afternoon, when I (the CT) drove onto my street, it turned correctly. It seemed to have learned how to make the turn.

Today, I used FSD through a difficult intersection with a lot of traffic, including a car on my right that was two feet into my lane. I had it drive down a 4 lane street with a lot of traffic because of construction and then on the parkway with a lot of traffic. The CT drove flawlessly everywhere, all day!

I went to the bank to deposit a check, but I thought I could have taped the check and deposit slip to the driver's window, sent the CT to the teller's window, and I could have stayed home.

In Sept 2012, I told my partner I wanted to start focusing on getting personal injury cases other than car accidents. Our practice was 98% car and motorcycle accident cases. He asked me why, and I said because I thought cars would drive autonomously in 15 years, and with or without autonomous driving enabled, there would be very few car accidents with fewer accidents every year as cars enabled collision avoidance features. Fortunately, our law practice is now about 50% non-motor vehicle cases.

I may have been early with my prediction, or Elon was late, but the future is here!
