First time this happened. CT turned onto side street and proceeded to drive on the wrong side of the road. Let it go like this for a while and then corrected it to the correct side of road.

How can FSD get this wrong? I’m so baffled.

At 10sec mark, It seems like the CT saw the wet patch as the side road ad went itno the left lane. The road lines were a bit covered in salt or dirt?

It does this every single time when driving on a freeway service/frontage road with double yellow lines. It thinks the street is 1 way like many other service roads. The screen would also show double yellow line, but FSD just ignores it.

The screen showed double yellow in the middle of the road (looked like a normal road) but it just wanted to stay in the left upcoming side for some strange reason. First time ever it happened. As far as dampness and salt, never had it get confused over that yet, although one time on the highway the salt obscured the lines in the middle and the CT began to straddle the middle of the highway (no one was around so i didnt interfere). Eventually it picked up the middle dotted lines again and moved to the appropiate lane.

Not sure if it will duplicate it later on when i go out.

I've had this happen once before (recently on latest version). Turned left, but went into the empty left lane and just stayed there. Had to disengage. It did not seem to care that a double yellow was on the right of it.

happened to me today. let it go for a while to see if it would correct, and it just carried on cruising along on the wrong side. I finally corrected it when I saw a car in the distance coming towards me.

I’ve had it happen in the CT and in my M3, I suspect at least for me it was GPS issues. I even saw the M3 thinks its feet over from where it really is, but it clears up. Feel like it’s same with my drone. Says 4 our of X sats available and may be inaccurate. And I’ve even had FSD disabled due to a lack of sats but it seems to clear up after driving a bit.

And they want to release unsupervised this year… smh. I’m really pulling for FSD (so is over 50% of my life savings), but these are embarrassing, unacceptable errors that should have been corrected before releasing the very first version, not something we have to deal with in v13.

Your truck went all British on you. Glad you were paying attention, chap! Did you report it in feedback, just out of curiosity?

Tesla Cybertruck FSD wrong side of road!?!?!? 1736897599329-mv

pooled water occluded the lane markings, and FSD guessed wrong in that particular situation. Did you report it, and flag as high priority?

I can confirm this can be a problem. This happened to me so I saved it a few examples.
I had to hit the break, it would have gone through the barrier.

I tried to upload the videos but it kept erroring out, so x videos it is.
