I've taken in my cybertruck 4 times now since purchase in January for the same issue that claims to be resolved but has not.

Problem Statement: when exceeding speeds over 65mph, the windshield wiper moves from left to right on its own as if its either

a) a software glitch that has not been resolved in any updates
b) a motor or controller issue.

I have had the wiper replaced, including the tubing and out of 3 dealerships in south florida NO ONE can resolve this issue. I have posted the video on YOUTUBE in hopes to get some traction so someone out there in the TESLA world can fix this...

That is interesting to know that it can move and the reason as stated in the manual, I did wonder why mine adjusted when on the highway. However in the OP's youtube video the wiper is moving pretty excessively back and forth. I drove mine this past weekend about 400 miles round trip at highway speeds and mine only adjusts a few times when I get up to speed and then remains in that spot.

im sure it is not. in the video the wiper is moving from side to side 100's of times on a long drive. Then this is an EPIC FAILURE for the wiper as its constant recalibrating and it should not be doing this

well it depends not just on speed, but also wind direction. if you're driving close to the car in front of you, or the wind is changing slightly as you drive... it will shift more

alright, well if you want to keep wasting time chasing an intended feature, you do you. But don't complain that it's taking so long to fix an issue that isn't real.

it's never going to "calibrate" and pick one single spot, because active aero doesn't work that way. the point of least drag will constantly be changing. So the wiper constantly moves to find it.

this sounds like a ROOKIE response... clearly you didn't watch the video nor understand the ACTUAL problem... be helpful not condescending... this is a REAL issue.

What did service think was the problem? As you mentioned they changed the wiper blade to no avail.

it's literally a screenshot from the user's manual, where it describes exactly the behavior you are experiencing as intended behavior.

I can assure you agordon117 that is is a technical error and not an intended feature on the truck.
How do you know that? are you on the engineering team for the truck? The fact that it moves more than you think it should move does not mean it's moving more than intended.

I pick my truck up tomorrow, so I don't have first hand experience, but does everyone's truck do this?

I watched the video and that would be weird if that is normal behavior. It's wobbling around like a dog's tail the whole time.. bad design if that's "normal" because clearly it cannot be doing anything aerodynamically functional by moving back and forth at the exact same speed. That would make no sense.

It looks defective to me.
