Tesla Cybertruck Gigapress Update! From Joe Tegtmeyer Screen Shot 2022-08-20 at 8.55.26 AM

From Joe Tegtmeyer's latest drone video, he snuck a peek inside the northern casting-machine area. Clearly visible is a pair of freshly-minted Gigapress pads, awaiting delivery! I think this settles the debate on where the 9kt press will operate within the factory.

Also in the video was a view of just how much more space this area has for additional equipment, and a surprise fourth 6kt casting machine! How did they sneak one in past all the drones lol

This is quicker than I thought they'd arrive. They were in Italy(?) just a month or so ago for their open house, unless they only showed one to the public and the others(?) were already in containers on their way to Texas.

I wonder if the 6KT for the front CT cast and if they are using a larger suspension riser beam to hang the A/C like in the MY, or are they going to use the front motor assembly as a supporting structure now too?

Its essentially a hollow u shape in the MY with said A/C brace.

Wow. I had a 750-ton Cincinnati press brake and I had to have a trench about 6ft deep. This is amazing how these new presses are.
