Having read a number of posts reporting issues from manufacturing to delivery etc. I was unsure just how it would go but today I picked up my AWD and zero issues. Just to reassure others that are waiting but not to minimize those that have had issues I would say this was quick 20 min and construction is good. Other than some information about registration and the pleasant surprise of the staff on my arrival there was no fan fare which was fine with me. I was handed my key cards and pointed in the direction of my truck waiting right out front. After my inspection which was without issue I accepted the vehicle and was on my way.
A couple of things. No question about the attention it gets. I had left the front door open as I was doing a walk around and came back to the driver side only to find a guest climbing in. I did have to point out it wasn’t a demo ?. The second thing is having to immediately drive in busy traffic was a bit of a challenge given the different driving dynamics
Finally, I have owned modified mustangs, Audi RS 5, Challenger Hellcat and this truck is as much fun of not more on the back roads of Virginia!
