Schedule appointment for your recall on wipers motor and vault sail. The day before your Scheduled appointment you’ll receive an email that wheel covers will be installed during your service appointment.

Perhaps check service center prior to see if any covers are on site. I know here in NY they had them and kept telling me they would reach out according to your VIN. Then I scheduled the recall issues and email came day before appointment.

I got the email as well. I messaged the SC to not install them on the winter switch over. They responded that they don't have any wheel covers, and don't know why the email went out.

Did not work. I intentionally delayed my wiper motor and sail applique recalls until a couple weeks ago and when i scheduled the appointments i even put in the service request to add wheel covers, and they denied it saying i'll need to wait for the email notification.

Before scheduling service for recall be sure that the service center has the wheels in stock already. It’s my understanding that some service centers have them and some do not. Try and research the service centers that have them in stock. If they do, there is no need to request it. The email will automatically go out once you schedule.

I'd really love to understand the difficulty at this point.

Take 5 employees, producing 6 sets of wheel covers per hour(ridiculously slow), 12 hour days, 5 days per week, 4 weeks per month, 4 months since wheel cover email (July 19th).

5*6*12*5*4*4 = 28,800 wheel cover sets produced, which is close to all delivered Cybertrucks based on estimates.

This is truly silly and i hate that i am irritated by it. :D

10*4*12*5*4*4 = 28,800 wheel cover sets produced which is close to all delivered Cybertrucks based on estimates.
If you say each employee makes 6 sets per hour,

5 emps x 6 sets x 12 hrs x 5 days x 4 weeks x 4 months = 28,800 like you said but, your math should have resulted in 38,400 sets... But, I don't know where you got the 10*4 to start there...

The only way I see Tesla not being able to scale up production of wheel covers is if they have decided to not invest in the capability because they are planning on stopping offering them with every truck. Perhaps they'll be just an accessory and not many people would go out and buy semi-effective hub caps for a truck. I mean, how many trucks have hub caps these days?

I see the end of those truck wheel covers coming soon... perhaps replaced by nice hub covers and lugnut covers.
