VW AG board said Friday it has appointed Porsche boss Oliver Blume which looks like a Porsche “circle the wagons” maneuver. VW‘s electrification planned 8 new factories has to be in question with Porsche pulling its greatest advocate.
Diess at Tesla? That’s a conversation that, if not already, will be forthcoming. Elon’s Twitter aspirations might effect an opening where none had existed.
Having owned VW’s, experienced its dealership structure firsthand, it would qualify as one liability for the customer facing side of Tesla’s business and a detriment to Elon’s flat heiracrhy style of operation. That from a father who put both daughters into VW’s for their first cars. And the VW owned personally was made in MEX, which is telling that it was a superbly built automobile. SO Diess may have knowledge, connections and be an asset to Tesla “MASSIVE” growth plan.
