Sentry Mode is an environmental disaster of a feature. Tesla should pull the feature from the fleet until they can get the power draw under 10W or so. The environmental impact of Sentry Mode is THOUSANDS OF TONS of CO2/year!!

Slight exaggeration perhaps, LOL.

Although, now that i think of it, when i turned on sentry mode last week, a Cat 5 hurricane developed around my CT and wiped out my entire town.....

I'm new to Tesla (and electric vehicles). I picked up my Beast at the beginning of May and then headed to Europe for 3 weeks. I had read about power drainage and turned everything off and left it plugged into 120v (waiting, waiting on Powershare) and set up monitoring on my iPhone (charge to 80%, which is where it was when I departed).

I was shocked to see 3-5% drop per day and then somehow the power disconnected after a couple of days. I found on the internet that simply accessing via my iPhone was increasing power drain (apparently it requires the CT to wake up to communicate).

I arrived home to find only about 8% remaining - enough to get me to a Supercharger.

I've renamed my Beast to e-Drac (electronic Dracula)....

I don’t see how it’s possible. Thats the average daily usage of my 3200sf house. Which includes charging our S. The battery must have a resistive path to ground.
