I struggle.

Its difficult to "contain" my love for this truck - Its just so much fun and I'm a first time pickup truck owner... so here's my dliemma:

I would take it EVERYWHERE - but my family is much less showy -minded than I am - so they sometime admonish me to say "its probably not appropriate to take it to xxx"..

Which brings me to my sincere question:

For those who already own one, and recognizing how "visible" this vehicle is (especially on the east coast where there are still so few of them) --

What are the appropriate places you can take it, and where would you NOT?

I have a wedding coming up soon (Indian wedding so epic fun multi-day event with lots of fun) - but not sure a cybertruck is appropriate.. I have other "fancy" vehicles I can take but I JUST WANT TO TAKE MY CT. Is it appropriate? (We're just invitees)

And where is the line you draw? Church / Temple ? Wake?
I guess Home Depot and Picnic are totally OK - but would love to hear your thoughts?

Wedding Yes ? No?

I wouldn't take my Cybertruck to an "I hate Elon Musk", "Diesel Truck Coal Rollers Association", or "Donuts Under My Bed And Soggy Socks (DUMB ASS)" Rallies. Other than those things, I probably wouldn't take it to a used car lot trying to get a good deal on a car for my daughter...

Otherwise, take the truck. Unless you want to be incognito.

I take mine everywhere. It's my only car.

My wife still has her 2020 MYLR, but I sold my 2020 MYLR because I hadn't driven it once in the two months since I took delivery of my FS AWD, haha!!

IMO, the CT transcends the truck/car/SUV divide. It fits in everywhere. Uptown, midtown, downtown, ranch, rural, coast, canyon, desert. The CT seems to take on the vibe of whatever surrounds it.

I agree! EVERYWHERE! My wife sometimes cringes at the attention, but she’s getting used to it 🤣

Appropriate ?? It's a truck bring it anywhere. Anyone who has an issue with it isn't worth talking to.

It's a vehicle, not a dress code. It's a cool truck, take to a wedding, take it to the Taco Bell drive through, take it to the landfill for weekly dump trips, take it camping! This sounds like a personal culture thing more than anything else--I can't really relate to this, personally.

“Not appropriate “??? My wife wants to wrap ours with the Halo Warthog wrap and take it everywhere! lol I doubt I will ever hear her say it’s not appropriate to take it anywhere. To be honest she now looks at out F250 King Ranch 4x4 as outdated and is asking me if I am going to sell it soon.

I am not saying you should intentionally embarrass your family but that is the least of my concerns in my situation. Good luck.

You have a good woman.
Mine is great too, because she did approve my purchase - but congrats, bro

Appreciate that - I guess its uniqueness still makes it "bling" that needs consideration in some cases.. but agree - it's EPIC fun.

It's a vehicle, take it where you take it other vehicles.

It's a valid question.

I would say yes to a Wedding if you knew almost all the people there. There are some places I didn't take my CT because it would of been a distraction and didn't want to deal with it.

For instance, the 4th of July fireworks show where you watch from outside your vehicle or in the bed of the truck. I decided against it because, it would of went from a Fireworks show to a car show.

Point is. If you think it is going to take away from your experience of your destination, don't bring it. The CT is a showstopper for sure.

you seem like people person-attraction won't be your problem. Moreover, if people hate it it's their problem not yours. Just chill and have fun! Don't let others negative personality bend yours-just have sympathy for the devils-cheers!

2 places I did not drive mine. A ufc type event. Bare knuckle fighting. And a concert. Just don’t want to have to argue with people drinking that also happen to like fighting.
