Hopefully Cybertruck tow range is better than F-150 Lightning

Need 180 miles minimum towing 10-80 range with 30 minute charging. If the vehicle can’t make that mark between refills, then it is useless to me. I am hoping between Chemistry improvements and 4680 cell design this is achievable, especially if they use the 900V architecture with V4 chargers. Simply getting a flatter charging curve can help achieve the charge time improvements. The nice thing is with the Rivian getting 1.1 miles / kWh towing a 30’ airstream, if the Cybertruck gets 1.6 miles / kWhr that is a 45% improvement.
Hoping since I am so low on the reservation list, I am like 3 years out from delivery. As long as Tesla doesn’t pull a Y SR BS move to produce more vehicles instead of producing the vehicle with the actual specification it needs to get 500 mile non towing range, I should be good to go. Also a lot of new chargers will be added to the entire network in 3 years as well, so all trends should be going in my favor.

Then you should be in the Semi line.

Least this thread devolve into coffee topic, my favorite is espresso from an Italian outdoor cafe while watching svelte signorinas go by.

But then in practical day to day reality, I have a Nespresso using the Intenso pod while wife keeps on reminding me about leaking faucet that I promised to fix the previous winter ago.

Pilot happened to be the only cappuccino I can take and very specific to Lost Hills.

But yes, it goes without saying that an adapter and a credit card are needed.
Dear Elon,

Please put a Keurig into the Cybertruck dashboard.

Sincerely,
CTOC

To pull a 7000 lb trailer? Sorry but I expect a pickup truck to be able to perform as a pickup truck.
Which definition of a pickup truck? obviously yours, but I have heard people describe and define what a 'pickup' truck means quite differently.

I understand that it might not suit your needs, but that does not mean it is not a pickup.

Some pickup trucks cannot even tow 7,000lbs, let alone almost 200 miles a day that are gas.

But I think in 2-3 years, we will be there.

Even worse, cars rated at 7000 pounds, are pulling 7000 pounds.

Quite a paradox

Porsche Cayenne has a tow rating of 7,700 lbs. Not sure how comfortable I would feel with such a trailer.

Some brave, aka foolish too, souls will be experimenting a trans Alaska trip on a Ford Lightning with an aluminum pop up truck camper.

i'm very interested on where they will be charging. Range data maybe only slightly useful. The interior of the pop-up is too cramped and likely wifey will not likey and out of consideration for either a Cybertruck or F150.

Lance 650 will be the minimum for her and I'm not sure if Lance will customize one for Cybertruck (I asked and no response whatsoever, not even a canned reply). Lance 650 will fit into F150 Lightning although electrical wiring and appliances need to be reconfigured.

Someone has already made it to the north shore of Alaska in a Model Y. Not going to be hard to do in a Rivian, F-150 lightning, and especially not hard in a Cybertruck.

I can then now include that on my bucket list. Camping through Alaska National Parks on my Cybertruck with a truck camper. Lance better hurry. I'll be their first customer for Lance 650 Cybertruck Edition.:p

Thanks!

A semi is setup for that and here in the US you have to take a lot of extra training and carry additional insurance.
Anyone with enough money can buy a Porsche Cayenne... and I am not sure how well designed it is for towing. I assume towing was not top priority when it was designed, but I could be wrong.

I have no problem towing things up to the vehicle weight of my Subaru... not that it can tow much more than that.

Brake controller does help ease the mind...
