I'm a reporter in Philly for the Inquirer. I'm working on a story that gets into what people are driving around the state and how that's getting more political.

If you live in Pa, I'd like to hear about your cybertruck experience. Are people being nice, are they jerks?

I have a database of every registered vehicle in Pa and from the looks of it there about 700 Cybertrucks (not including maybe any commercial fleet vehicles). So it's a relatively small number, and hard for me to find a person on the roads to interview.

This isn't a story bashing Cybertrucks. It's really about society. (It discusses Prius drivers, and Toyota drivers, and Ford drivers, for example).

But with all the publicity on Cybertrucks and Musk, I'd like to add the voice of someone who actually has the truck.

If you get a ton of compliments, for example, I'd like to have that for the story. Or, if people are crossing the line and hassling you, that also should be included.

I don't own an EV but I think every journalist should consider one. I was once on assigment with a photographer who has a Model Y and it was like having a remote office. I could plug in my laptop, phone, run the heater. She was able to remotely see me on camera and let me into it when needed. Very cool.

I don't want to break any forum guidelines and start a politics convo here, so please email me with a way to reach you. I'm at [email protected]. Thanks all!
