I accepted the Powershare offer on my Foundation Truck, only be be declined by [email protected] after the site survey. I expected to receive a voucher after being declined, but alas...

I have tried contacting both Tesla as well as the installer for an update on the Voucher. The two Tesla people I have managed to get on the phone have not been able to help (comicly unable to help), and the installer has not returned emails or vmails.

I found a couple of other threads about people not getting vouchers, but none that I reviewed had a solution.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Within two weeks you will see the money in your Tesla wallet

In your app tap the menu (top right), tap your name, tap wallet, you will see the $2500 there

PowerShare Design Review declined me on Oct 16th. Note that the decline was AFTER the survey was accepted and the installer came out for the initial survey.

It has been over a month since the decline. The voucher is not in my wallet.

Yes, I completed the survey. The survey was accepted and in due course an installer contacted me and came out.

Several weeks later I the installer contacted me an said Tesla was declining. The issue seemed to be that I have a solar system that is off-grid, but that I can manually connect in an emergency. Therefore they declined me, which is their right and I am not arguing about.

At this point I would just like to get my voucher and we can call it even.

in limited cases Tesla sent Out an actual voucher via email. Worth searching your inbox for this. But most likely yours will be $2500 wallet credit vs voucher program which was sunset

Once we mark the install as cancelled Tesla’s internal team will send you the credits within two weeks or so.

you should see it in your Tesla Wallet any day now

if you don’t see it by this time next week feel free to DM me your VIN and I can look into this for you

cheers

I’m in the same boat with decline to install. However, I did get an email mentioning that I will get a voucher for $2500 that will xpire in August 2025. However, I do NOT see credit in the store. The local service center was useless and said call. No one will respond to phone or emails.

UPDATE: On Nov 22, I used the phone number mentioned below (1-888-518-3752) and actually got a human after several attempts. He was able to find the Tesla email for the $2500 and after reviewing the emails declining the PowerShare installation, he loaded my voucher number into the shop system.
It did NOT SHOW; however, on the checkout page, I was able to manually type in the code and get the credit.

Thanks to all the folks for your assistance.

So if Tesla denies you due to infrastructure. You (say) purchased a CyberBeast then what happens to that $4000 install voucher? It was them that declined you, not the other way around.

Also you guys are saying you are calling Tesla. I had a chat with them a while ago about contractor pricing. This post is who they told me to call if I had issues, is this the number you are calling?

Tesla: 1-888-518-3752
Select Vehicle, Sales, New Vehicles, then Enter Zip code
So much about Tesla is knowing how to hold your tongue juuuust right. I started with Tesla Assist, but I did not know the trick of asking for an agent. Assist sent me to service. I called service and got a person who sent me to sales. I called sales and spoke with the local sales manager who told me he had been with Tesla 7 years and had never heard of a voucher program for the Cybertruck. He said he would call me back, but has not.

While this was going on, my installer got in touch with Qmerit. I received an email from them explaining that they would request the credit, and it should show up in my wallet in a few days. That is where I am now.

So, short answer to your question is "yea I called Tesla several times, but not the 888 number." I am curious if there is something that makes the 888 number more useful, or did you just get lucky to have someone knowledgeable pick up the call.

Do you remember what numbers you’ve pushed? I called 1-888-518-3753 and I talked to someone on Nov 13 but still don’t have credit. Trying to follow up.

Sorry, I don’t recall. Could be the sales or PowerWalls selection.

Sorry, I don’t recall. Could be the sales or PowerWalls selection.
I’m in the same boat, early AWD VIN in Utah and was eager to install PowerShare, but the assigned installer CarChargingPros estimated ~$4k for a 5’ install on my garage wall (my service and panel is on the garage wall within 5’ of the garage and I already have a 100A circuit to a 80A HPWC). I declined and have been stuck in limbo since, no voucher, no free supercharging. Have asked the installer on 3 calls to please confirm my decline with PowerShare team but that hasn’t helped (fwiw, CCPros told me early in the process that they hoped I would confirm my order so CCPro could aggregate enough orders in my area for Tesla to ship PowerShare components, that they were in holding pattern until enough owners signed up in my area; I suspect CCPro didn’t want to let me go from their list to keep their aggregate numbers up but that is a guess). This was prior to the Tesla voucher program and before Tesla started having owners requisition the UWCs directly). I’ve spoken to Customer Service rep who promised escalation to PowerShare team and a callback. Crickets.

Any clues for how you all have resolved is much appreciated. 🙏🏻
