Any recommendations on how to repair minor scuffs on the wheels? Any specific tools or paints would be appreciated. Someone damaged mine while I was parked.

Great idea thank you! I'm just going to do this until I get my wheel covers in 2026. After they finish handing them out as business cards for anyone who does a test drive.

If you did this to a wheel, you are going to go through wheel covers like candy. Wheel covers will stick a lot further out. That would have destroyed one!

I didn't do this, but thanks for your concern. It was done to me while the vehicle was parked. As I stated in the OP.

You can see the lines are perfectly straight and not on the axis of wheel rotation, as they would be if my wheel was turning.

Your point is people(or me specifically) are going to go through hubcaps like candy because 3rd parties are going to be constantly destroying them? Seems like a long shot prediction. Good thing replacement caps are cheaper than wheel repair. $75 vs $100.
