Minimal increase in aerodynamic drag, 5-8%?
Doubles cubes while driving, nearly 4X while parked with top up
48" height inside vault with top down (stealth camping)
Simple enough to be home built

I can usually appreciate function over form, but I'm not a fan of how that looks. Maybe angular instead of curved to achieve similar function, but look more like the Cybertruck?

I quickly threw this angular version together but to sleep in the vault in stealth mode would feel very claustrophobic. I could make it taller but then a bigger range penalty. I'm an airplane guy. I like the curves. I'm really trying to maximize the usable cubes over aero drag ratio in both closed and open positions.
