Today at work I got a call from a company looking to move "Wide, heavy, high-end electric vehicles". From the number I knew the caller was in California.

My mind immediately envisioned the CT prototypes or mules rolling off the Fremont prototype production line! I started asking roundabout questions and the caller was doing a good job dodging specific on the vehicles. This piqued my interest even more. After asking 20 or so industry specific questions, I was able to corner the caller and he admitted my guess was correct.

The call was for moving Lucid electric cars!

Arrrggggghhhh.

Not that we'll see them (enclosed auto transport), but the new Lucids are soon to be delivered to customers.

The Lucid cars aren't exciting?
Well, you have a valid point. That is to say, "someone" is going to be excited to hear this news. And not that I didn't get excited.... but I was really hoping the caller was from Tesla! THAT would have been huge. Of course, I would have had to sign a NDA, but still.

Careful. If he throws you a SS bone it might just knock you out.

I am not planning on owning a Lucid, but I find that news exciting.
I will be glad to see any new EV placed in the hands of an owner. Especially from the smaller startup companies. The more the merrier.
