I just got invitations for my second and third CT reservations, anybody else?

Keep in mind there is still the one year resale restriction in place.

That's why you won't get a trade-in offer. You're not legally permitted to sell it as of yet and a trade-in is a sale.

Practically, they probably won't want used Cybertrucks to list for sale until they have inventory and demo units up for sale on the Tesla web site. Some time after that they'll put up used listings. My guess is that won't be until Q1 2025 as the first real shipments of Cybertruck were in Q1 2024 so twelve months later.

Have we even heard a rumor of Tesla enforcing that restriction?

There have been numerous CTs sold, some very publicly.

I made three reservations (one during the reveal and two more a bit later). I got my first back in December (second wave) and delivered truck in February. Now I just received emails from Tesla that my other two reservations are ready to configure. Curios if anybody else got more than one invite at this point as well.

Fwiw I don't really need more than one truck, especially at current price

As I keep seeing posts relating to multiple reservations coming up throughout the forum, I can only get frustrated wondering why people were ordering so many and now with so many still waiting on FS CB delivery status, that hopefully these people are refusing their latter orders to free up CB available inventory for those still waiting for VINS and haven’t yet received a CB from an original order.

I made three different reservations initially for three different trims since I was not sure which one I would want and if I would be able to change it (turns out it did not matter). Now reservations are no longer required, so I think it should not matter for anyone. I finally cancelled my two other reservations a couple of days ago to get my $200 back

They have clearly ramped production and have inventory waiting for delivery. I pick mine up on 8/6 and it will have been 5 days from config to delivery!

Damn. I ordered last week and no vin yet , I was kind of expecting right away when seeing the Aug/sep on the site also a early res holder

I’m wondering about this. On 1 hand I would think even if you had 10 res it wouldn’t matter because it would be first to configure and commit but on the other hand I was a early res holder and it said I would get priority on delivery because of that. Hmmm. With that said I ordered last week and no vin yet . Feels like luck of the draw to me
