Hello Everyone, nice to be here!
So I'm buying the cybertruck as I have been a long time reservation holder and I never pulled the trigger. I wanted to test drive the car and see some on the road before I make a decision given that I've had many very early versions of Teslas and I'm now grown beyond "being the first kid on the block" to own anything and I wanted to see more things being fixed before I buy something; but yesterday I had the chance to spend two hours with the cybertruck and it was just pure fun it's a phenomenal car and it's an incredibly joy bringing toy.

I have a few questions for this esteemed community:
Did Tesla fix the waterproofing of the bed?
Did Tesla address, the spongy soft feeling of the center screen because my other Teslas don't have that play when you press on them.

What do you guys think about the aggressive thread pattern of the off-road tires versus the all season tires, I tested / drove the off-road ones, but I heard that the all season are softer on the road and more comfortable and less loud. is that true?

Has anyone managed to move their free supercharging from a previous car to the cyber?

What other things should I be aware of before taking delivery of my car? I'm aiming to get it by the end of the quarter which is the end of March.

Many of these things might have been addressed in different threads so I apologize for redundancy.

Stay cool!

The bed is not waterproof. The same as any other truck. The CTā€™s tannaeu is not designed to be water or air tight. Air and water travel freely in and out of the bed. It deflects some moisture/water if closed, but it isnā€™t watertight.

The flex in the screen is a feature not a bug.

I have the all-terrains and donā€™t think they produce any noise. They provide great ride.

I donā€™t know if anyone transferred free SC-ing to a CT, but there are a few FS CTs available for sale with free SC-ing.

Some CTs have had issues that Tesla is resolving. But you wonā€™t know what they are until after delivery. Like a constant vibration at speed due to imperfect motors that need replaced.

Enjoy your truck!

I wanted the Cyber wheels and Aero covers, so I have the all terrain tires. I don't like the appearance of the core wheels and wheel covers, so all season tires weren't an option for me. The all terrain tires seem quiet to me. This is a quiet truck. I don't notice any tire noise, but then again, my previous vehicle has BFG All Terrain tires that are not quiet.

I haven't noticed flex in the touchscreen.

Thank you for taking the time to respond, can you explain the flex in the screen as a feature? maybe you mean safety? (I can see that).
The ATW look amazing, it might have been the one I drove.
Cheers

I suppose safety, Iā€™m not sure. But it flexes and it is clear that it was made that way in that the touchscreen deflects ever-so-slightly when depressed. I donā€™t think it is a bug. Itā€™s just how it is.

It IS different from Teslaā€™s other vehicleā€™s touchscreens. The others are extremely hard glass and can fracture/crack.

I was able to spend a full week with cyber wheels (thanks, Turo people!) and now have a few months on my own with core wheels. A/Ts are definitely fine as far as ride smoothness and wind noise, but A/Ss are a noticeable difference. Iā€™m not necessarily advocating for them as theyā€™re less cool and not as good off-road, but if itā€™s smooth/quiet you want and want to save a few bucks, cores all the way.
