I'd like to thank the Nervous Nellies for their faithful allegiance to the letter of the law regarding tint.

Me however, I can't roll in a fish bowl.

25 years, at least 10 vehicles, all tinted 5%-15%. 8 different states (TN/KY, OK, AL, MD, NY, DC, VA)... Pulled over once (no ticket). Only accident I was ever in, I got hit by a junkie driving his freshly dead girlfriend's car, while I was stuck in beltway rush hour traffic, in DC. No one ever asked about my tint.

I remember my first tinted car, and how nervous I was for the first 2-3 weeks. Then it dawned on me that no one really gave a shit. If you drive a decent, well maintained car, with dark tint you get left alone.

If you're pushing a base model, clapped-out, 12 year old Corolla with oversized faux-carbon aero, fart-can muffler, trunk held shut with string, bald and "stanced", a 16 inch sub that rattles your license plate, mismatched bumper, with limo tint. Well, you're gettin' pulled over.
