Had PowerShare home backup installed with my FS. If I upgrade to a Cyberbeast, will the new truck operate the home backup automatically when plugged in, or will I need to reach out to Tesla for configuration?

Good question, but my assumption is that your home equipment should be the driving force here. So any Cybertruck should be able to provide power. After reading the FAQ on Tesla's website, the requirements look pretty basic (minimum firmware versions for the truck, mobile app, etc).

If not, this is definitely something we need to submit a request for so that the feature is already in place before the need arises.

As I don't have working powershare yet, and probably won't until mid next year when they release the Powerwall update, my initial guess is NO it won't work with just any CyberTruck without some type of pairing process.

I believe Powershare requires 2 way communication between the gateway and the truck / vehicle, which would require a pairing of some type before it will be allowed to Powershare. Right now with my Charge on Solar, Tesla requires a bluetooth pairing between the powerwalls and the vehicles and installs "key" on the lock screen to begin this pairing step.

My roommates Model 3 could not be setup for charge on solar because I didn't have on the same account, so it can be challenging to do this with multiple Tesla accounts and vehicles.

In short, I don't think reaching out to Tesla will be necessary, but it will be cumbersome to manage in its current iteration.
