Is there any evidence yay or nay as to the relative danger of the CT to pedestrians and other vehicles compared to other full size trucks? It is not a primary concern for my decisions but would be nice to know. Obviously same for CT driver safety. I have not seen any information on these topics.

The answer is no. Have you seen the size of other trucks and SUV's on the road? The most dangerous aspect of the Cybertruck is not the frame, structure, or weight of the vehicle. The most dangerous part is 18-29 year old drivers having a truck that accelerates like a sports car and driving like idiots.

No doubt young or irresponsible drivers might have poor driving judgement with the CT just like a muscle car or truck. I am looking for data on crash test results and CT vs other vehicles and pedestrians/mannequins.

The Cybertruck should be safer.

" Whatever their nose shape, pickups, SUVs and vans with a hood height greater than 40 inches are about 45 percent more likely to cause fatalities in pedestrian crashes than cars and other vehicles with a hood height of 30 inches or less and a sloping profile, an IIHS study of nearly 18,000 pedestrian crashes found. "

The Cybertruck should be safer than most trucks since it has a lower hood height than trucks and has a sloping profile.

No worries. We have NHTSA to regulate this type of issue. With the venomous attitude the Biden admin has toward Tesla, I think we can be sure that the vehicle is quite safe. I’m sure they worked overtime trying to find anything that could possibly damage Tesla.

The key word is full-size trucks. There are many different sizes of full-size trucks and many different elevations.

My feeling is that the Cybertruck is lower than many of the trucks and the pedestrian avoidance features will come into play.

This has become a urban myth well before the details of the Cybertruck were known. There are too many big pickups for which you would be like a bug on the windshield. I'd rather be hit by a Cybertruck, much lower area of impact and the hood allows for possible deflection as opposed to the be flat radiator on most trucks.

Yes I’m sure with all of the other pressing issues in this country right now, shitting all over Tesla is right at the top of the govt agenda.
