Studies show that negative advertising of a competitors product is more effective at influencing purchasing decisions than positive advertising of your own product. YouTubers are in it for the money, sometimes BIG money. What complete nonsense. It’s evident that he never liked this truck from the get go. Always praising other trucks, but insulting the truck every chance he gets. Just return the truck and give it to someone who would actually appreciate it instead of bitching about it.
He is.He's sponsored by Ford, isn't he?
I gave up on him a few months ago, I forget why. Shame, because I used to like his stuff.
There's 1 that was for sale that had that failure and it wasn't Whistlin Diesel's, so at least 2.He claimed there were a couple other 'supposed' hitch failures from normal use, not just the Whistlin Diesel video. Can anyone attest to that? I google it and find nothing but the Whistlin Diesel video. Are there actually any other cases, or is it just parroting?
This is true, he's got a pretty good hate on for Elon and has been open about it. iJustine reviewed the CT a few months ago and it was kinda funny, she had to comment about how she disagrees with Elon on just about everything but still liked the truck. There is so much social pressure on people in certain groups (of both political sides) to hate the other side. It's sad really. Where I live and who I associate with, that's almost non-existent. You run into a few Elon haters and probably a few more EV haters but most people just have objective conversations about products and don't care about politics. It's also amazing to me that a significant majority of people are still entirely clueless about EV's.If anybody follows his Twitter, he is pretty vocal about his disdain for Elon's politics--almost to the point of trolling and being antagonistic. It is a totally different persona than his JerryRigEverything tone. He is a big liberal and only started turning on Elon and Tesla once Elon came out in support of Trump. He was once a big Tesla guy and was at the original CT reveal, but changed in the last couple years. This video doesn't surprise me in the least.
There was one other that claimed to have that failure. No proof given. We speculated here (baselessly, of course lol) that the hitch damage was due to rear-end impact. There's 1 that was for sale that had that failure and it wasn't Whistlin Diesel's, so at least 2.
