For those few members who have been successful with a lemon law trade in, how did you get around the arbitration clause in the order agreement? I wasn't aware of that when I got mine and it seems to be putting off lawyers in helping otherwise.

I have an issue that has yet to be resolved. My 5th visit for the same thing will be this week. Looking to get some kind of trade, extended warranty, etc if possible. Any pointers or guidance would be appreciated.

Your best option is to ask them to do a buy-back.
They won't do any kind of extended warranty, free supercharging, etc.
Is it an aesthetic issue or mechanical? If it is cosmetic they may decline buyback request.

When asking for a buy back, is this done at the service center, on the 800 # or some other method?

I keep getting "the front drive motor is disabled" msg. The front drive motor has been replaced already with multiple inverters. Keeps happening. Happened again just over a week ago when coming back through Utah (Salt lake city to Park City).

Its done through your service center. Ask to speak to the service manager and request the buy back. Service manager presents it to business resolution team

Hopefully you get the buy back when asked. Will you be getting another or go a different direction?

Sorry to hear, and I say this not to rub salt in a wound, just to provide reassurance: there are a lot of CTs out here functioning fine. You might have accidentally gotten a lemon, but give it a second chance. This is the greatest vehicle ever made and it can be a stress free ownership experience. I’ve had mine for about 6 months, driven it over 12K miles, and it’s never been to a service appointment.

I’m on the same boat and was about to make a similar post, but then saw this one. I am on my 3rd service visit for same issue, and have had truck in shop almost 30 days since I bought it 5 months ago for multiple issues. I was going to send in the lemon law notice to manufacturer and attorney generals office to be in compliance with Florida lemon law statues. Any advice is appreciated for those that have successfully completed a lemon law buy back.

It's from the service center, but they might charge a mileage fee at buyback, around $0.80 - $1.00 per mile. The mileage is most likely based on what it was when you sent the truck back to the service center to replace the front inverter

Btw, if anyone just picked up a new truck from the buyback, we’ve got screen protectors 40% off ($30 after tax) 'til Wednesday! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DK6QHT8N

I have noticed my truck has the same issue “ the front motor disabled “ since Sunday. I am bringing it in today. Is this something that can’t be fixed???

We asked service and their manager handled it. They couldn’t figure out how to fix our loss of traction when the truck would raise at saved locations. In a year we had it in the shop for about 40 days and replaced the rear drive unit, windshield due to cameras becoming unaligned and some other minor issues. Most days it sat because it was an early VIN and they didn’t have trained technicians. The buyback was too easy of a process I wasn’t ready to part with ours so quick. It was about three weeks in total, they did all the work. Unfortunately we turned ours in yesterday, I am so sad I loved that truck. They had a check for us, barely looked at the vehicle and said have a good day. I know I can pick up a new one but the things that truck has seen from March of 2024 till now makes it weirdly sentimental. It was only a weekend or road trip vehicle for us but seemed like right thing to do once they said they didn’t know how to fix the current issue.

Yeah that is lemon law worthy. Good luck and sorry it happened to you.

I used a great lemon law practice to get me out of my GMC Hummer 2025 2x SUV....and i want to get a CT. Tesla says no lawyers but that is baloney.

Go through your service center, ask for the service manager, there are usually 2-3 depending on the location.
What vin # range is your truck?
