-glass roof. I don’t like sunroofs or glass roofs of any kind. Operational ones fail and they all eventually leak. I see zero benefits to not having a steel roof. An insulated roof will have a higher R value and more structural integrity. Glass expands and contracts at different rates and is not as safe in a crash. I don’t see any benefits to passing UV to occupants or the interior components. I want a stainless roof with imbedded Solar panels to help with hvac and maintain batteries when parked.

-Aircraft style control yoke. They work fine in an aircraft because they typically only rotate about 90 degrees and they don’t block the flight instruments. Most vehicles have much more travel and I think it would be awkward to turn the yoke upside down. When an aircraft is trimmed you don’t have to have a hand on it all of the time either. I sometimes like to hold the steering wheel with my leg in a car to momentarily free up my hands. Not possible with an aircraft type yoke. I also like to lay my hands on top of the wheel sometimes. I would rather have a wheel with a center hub that did not rotate so thumb switches don’t invert.

-Carpet. Carpet stains and retains dirt and odors. I only want removable floor Matt’s and drain plugs in the low points of the foot wells. My carpet would be completely ruined in less than a year.

-Integral tail gate ramp. I have no use for that. In the rare event that I need a ramp I am fine with a portable folding one. The one being offered is just weight, complexity and expense to me. I work my trucks and a tailgate typically lasts me about 50,000 miles before I wear it out or ruin it in some manner. I like being able to obtain a good replacement from a junkyard for a hundred bucks or so. I also like that they are light weight and removable by one person when loading a heavy pallet with a fork lift.

-Over the windscreen light bar. Unnecessary gimmick. Causes glare. Lights belong in the front.

-Middle front folding seat. Don’t want it or need it. I would prefer storage space below the arm rest console. Maybe even an insulated hot/cold hvac box.

-Bullet proof glass. Seems impractical and unsafe for being rescued. Never needed it and probably never will.

-glass roof.
I wouldn’t pay for a sunroof, but enjoy the similar roof in my Model Y a lot. Nearly everyone who rides with me loves it.

-Carpet. Carpet stains and retains dirt and odors. I only want removable floor Matt’s and drain plugs in the low points of the foot wells. My carpet would be completely ruined in less than a year.
Removable carpet would be super nice. I have the rubber mats in my Model Y and they are decent, but underneath is a carpet collecting dirt.

-Integral tail gate ramp.
I’m mostly with you here. Lifting 10-20 pounds of ramp every time I open and close the tailgate is not worth the 1% of the time I would use it. I’d much prefer a side open tailgate like the Honda Ridgeline has so I can access the under vault storage easier!

-Over the windscreen light bar. Unnecessary gimmick. Causes glare. Lights belong in the front.
It isn’t even legal to use on the road in most states. It is mostly for off-road use. I’d prefer they spent the $10 in parts on something else myself.

-Middle front folding seat.
I fairly regularly used the middle seat on my Tundra. I’ve squeezed 8 adults into my truck, six in the cab, 2 in the bed and use it that way about 4-5 times a year.

-Bullet proof glass.
This one is easy, the glass isn’t bullet proof and was never designed to be. It’s just tougher than auto-glass. Something I appreciate since it blocks noise, makes break ins harder, and hopefully prevents window dings.

-glass roof
Five of the last six cars I've owned have had a sunroof. I have a friend who would often borrow my car and he hated sunroofs. He'd always close the sunroof shade. I'd get in my car and drive for a bit trying to figure out why I felt like I was in a cave until I realized the shade was closed.
That same friend recently bought a Model 3. He now loves the glass roof.

-Aircraft style control yoke
At first I agreed that the yoke seemed like a bad idea. But I've seen some reports that it's easy to get used to so I'm holding judgement until I've actually tried it. If the CT has a display behind the yoke I think I would like the yoke. It never fails that where I find the tilt steering wheel most comfortable is exactly where the wheel blocks the gauges.

I remember while learning to fly trying to hold the yoke with my knees like I do in a car to free my hands up for something. The flight instructor yelled at me and said if trimmed correctly and in stable air I should be able to let go of the yoke, at least long enough to do what I needed to do with two hands. Similar to trim, if you need to let go of the wheel/yoke in your Tesla you should be able to turn on autopilot and let go of the wheel, at least long enough to do whatever it is you need to do with both hands.

I like the look of a carpeted interior. I like the added benefits of sound proofing. In the spring I typically do a carpet cleaner (water extraction) clean, vacuum often spring through fall. Kick my shoes clean of snow and slush before getting in during the winter.

-Integral tail gate ramp
I'm hoping the tailgate is something that might have different options. I was kinda shocked that Tesla, the company that brought you the power doors of the Model X, didn't have a powered tailgate. Would really like to come back to the CT after a long ride on the cyberquad, pull out my phone, hit a few taps in the app, and the vault cover opens, the tailgate comes down, the truck lowers the back suspension and the ramp extends to the ground. All without dismounting the quad. Yes that is all unnecessarily, and no, it's not likely, but boy would it be cool.

-Over the windscreen light bar
Agreed not useful most of the time but could be very useful a small part of the time. Like lighting up a campsite, or working on something at night. Especially cool if it could be turned on/off via app.

-Middle front folding seat
Agreed, middle seat will not be used very often. Last time I had a bench seat in the front was my '86 Buick Regal and I can't think of a time I missed it since. I rarely have 4 friends at any given time, let alone 5. :)

-Bullet proof glass
As @Ogre said not bullet proof.

The glass roof is a signature Tesla feature. It is deeply tinted and should already block most all UV. It's also very strong, and there is no evidence that it lacks crashworthyness. That said, Tesla did offer a choice of a glass or steel roof for one model (S?) for a time, but not anymore AFAIK.

The yoke steering would need drive-by-wire to limit the turning angle. I'm not sure the CT will be the first to get this.

“Try it” first. I’ve been surprised by tech and design utility in the past.

“Dealbreakers” go direct to MOD Shop(liquid viscous transfers, plastic bits and accessories that fix’em) IF too many…its always worked for mey needs that a vehicle was just wrong fundamentally and never adequate.

Fair enough, but I have to disagree on most of your perspectives. These features make the CT revolutionary and far more useful.

Glass roof = gorgeous. Makes cabin feel open, bright, spacious, high tech. If you don't appreciate a view of the sky, you're missing out on one of the simplest joys in life. Have you driven in a Tesla with the glass roof? It's amazing.

Tailgate ramp = really helpful. I'd use it all the time for dollys, snowmobiles, ATVs, etc.

Light Bar = extra headlights. Super useful when driving on dark roads. I highly doubt this will cause any glare, except perhaps in dense fog or heavy snowfall. In that case, just turn it off!

Reinforced Glass = less likely to break accidentally. Why wouldn't you want this??? It was clear from the unveiling event that you can break it if you need to escape the cabin.

I totally agree on the carpet though. :)

Opt out:
Rear wheel steering-a nightmare when backing up a trailer.
Carpet-a utility vehicle should be utilitarian.
Overhead light bar.
Yoke steering wheel.
FSD-(Autopilot is sufficient for me)

Wished for items:
FLIR camera with display on screen.
Front push bar with tow hooks.
Powered open/close tailgate.
A base price at or below that originally quoted. It keeps ratcheting up and some of us may have to bail.

Rear wheel steering-a night mare when backing up a trailer.
I‘m pretty sure rear wheel steering will making all aspects of trailering better. That said, I haven’t actually driven a rear wheel steered truck. I just know having wheels that point where you are going is quite useful whatever direction you are pointed.

Tesla has not said the price has changed. Please don’t normalize what is a bad fiction.

In an event of a crash or water entry, large steel bearings deploy with message to use to break glass. One out of the yoke, two, one east side of the sail compartments.

No need to worry about the airbag behind the bearing.
