I am still waiting for my VIN so cannot test this but I had a thought on a cheap easy way to deal with fingerprints, uneven patina, etc. Steal a page from the home builders books. Texture (knockdown, orange peel, etc) was invented to reduce the cost of home building since it hides defects, seam and warps. So, for HFS, why not load up some BKF paste into the hopper of a texture gun, spray the entire car (maybe mask off plastic and other soft parts), let it sit a few minutes, then pressure wash it off (quickly). Should leave a uniform mottled finish that will hide fingerprints, dirt, color variations, etc. It might even look good (in an urban-camo sort of way).
