Hurricane Beryl is knocking out a lot of power so far. Unfortunately my power share hardware still hasn't been installed, but I could still use the beds output plugs.

Anyone else impacted?

I'm out of power since this morning, have Tesla Powerwalls and solar, so no functionality with the truck until after hurricane season. Tesla really dropped the ball on that one.

I topped-up the Cybertruck just in case, but the storm turned north as soon as it made landfall and will miss me entirely.

Too bad, I wanted a test! My app says that PowerShare is ready to go, maybe I'll go flip the breakers anyway lol

I wish!!!!! I am currently running the octopus of wire from the bed, around the house but of course no possibility of AC. Power has been out for 24 hours now. I have the truck, I have the equipment installed and verified it's up to date on software, just no software on the truck or app to enable it! Seven calls to Tesla have ended in frustration, 2 service tickets through the app and one open ticket through the help line have yielded squat. I spoke to nice lady yesterday(in the dark) and explained to her to the circumstances of my situation and she was unwilling to do anything but tell me I have to wait 2 weeks until they get to it... no escalation, no "email or note to a team" nothing she could do...

I hear that by the end of the day tomorrow they will have a timeline for our power to be restored but considering the amount trees down in my area I expect an estimate counted in DAYS! The last time we had a hurricane (Ike) it was 9 days with no power and 24 days with no Natural Gas I am hoping beyond hope Tesla comes through somehow... there cannot be that many in my situation with everything in place in the middle of a disaster and just waiting for them.

Sup!
I would suggest testing it out!!!

We had a power outage recently and truck was plugged in, supposed to kick on but then I got a powershare failed in the app and suddenly ALL powershare features were removed from the app.

I spoke to the qmerit lead who spoke to a tesla engineer and was told that it's a firmware issue and won't be fixed until they release the ability to power solar with the powershare as welll.

It sucks because my first tests worked fine however when I actually needed it it failed and didn't work.

Let me know!

I was out of power for 24 hours. A lot of people in Houston (where I am) are still without power. The Cybertruck saved our food in the fridge and kept all our phones charged up. It would have been nice to have my powershare hardware installed already, but it was still very useful!

Sidenote the sound of 8 generators screaming around the neighborhood was awful. The CT helped us with complete silence!
