Shouldn’t there be a sensor that triggers if you have low coolant levels? Did you get any?Well, the sh*t keeps piling up. Driving around today and I start smelling maple syrup.i didn't have pancakes or French toast so I'm wondering...
I am thinking it is antifreeze so I look it up...
Google says, Yes, Tesla antifreeze (coolant) can smell like maple syrup or have a distinct sweet, sugary odor. This smell is a classic indicator of a coolant leak in both conventional vehicles and electric vehicles like Teslas
Well, the honeymoon is over. I cannot afford to fix this truck every month. I don't know how many other issues are in my future but I bought this truck because they are supposed to be more reliable then an ICE vehicle. I had my S10 for 140,000 mi and I replaced the intake gasket and the shackles on the rear suspension I have my Honda Ridgeline for 106,000 mi and I did nothing except for the timing belt at 105,000. So far the Tesla cost me $2,500 for a computer And I don't know what this next issue is going to cost. It had been the best truck I ever owned, now it's turning into the worst truck I ever owned.
