The merc 320 is a single wiper design, not a vertical wiper design. It hides the same way all wipers hide, below the hood, in a space that causes a ton of drag, which is why it’s being eliminated on EVs
I was referring to the single wiper engineering.

Here is my take.

How do you grow a business that makes roughly 13k cars per year and 95% of its buyers are male?

You instruct your designers to soften the lines and make a sports car that appeals to females. Think of all the wealthy trophy wives, high net worth women, etc. that the Luce would appeal to worldwide.
As I said above, they’ve already made at least three different “ladies cars.” They’re not growing the business with this. It’s just a huge misstep on the new design language. It happens. Someone else already showed all of their new vehicles that have very similar design language with the ugly piano black on the front lip and other cues that Ives took to the extreme with his take. This is the direction that current leadership wants to take the brand in.

I suspect that they’re going to have to retreat from this. If they don’t they will surely be selling fewer than 13,000 cars.
