I'm well on the way to having a bug out kit ready for spring adventures. With a rack and wedge tent. I'm curious if anyone has seen a modular seating solution that would allow the cab to convert into an additional sleeping area? It feels large enough but the stock seats don't fold down.

I tried many iterations of cabin sleep arrangements last summer (sideways with rear seats up was horrible for my 6’0” body, btw), and seemed the only viable path was passenger seat laid all the way back with a frame/mattress built-up to sleep at dash height longitudinally. I decided not to go that far and just tent-camped across the country (vault bed was full of adventure gear).

There is another thread on here with an OP screwing bed frame mounts into various points on their interior, with a convertible mattress. I’m unlikely to do that, headed for rack/cap/roof tent method myself.

if you’re trying to accommodate sleeping for ~4ppl the vault bed is a great spot (I sleep diagonally) with the Hest Mattress, fits perfectly. But if you’re trying to retain vault space for gear, Also check out the thread on here using the Cybertent plus an (Cinch Air Cruised Wildlands?) inflatable RTT, together, for sleeping their family off the ground.
