While I like the original aero wheel covers, Tesla is taking way too long for the redsign so I replaced them with @Atomic Wheels AW09s.
The company:
When I visited Atomic Wheels in Dallas, I met with their team and toured their warehouse to see their wheels firsthand. This Dallas-based, privately owned small business had the owner personally guide me through various wheel options and colors. He shared the story of how Atomic Wheels came to be, discussed his ambitions for growing the brand, emphasized their commitment to delivering excellent products, incorporating customer feedback for ongoing improvements, and highlighted their focus on competitively priced wheels.
As an additional point, he was waiting for his VIN when we met and mentioned he had chosen the tactical gray trim. I suggested that he might expedite his delivery by switching to the white trim. He made the change on Tuesday and received his delivery on Saturday of that same week.
The wheels:
The wheels are forged from a single 6061-T6 aluminum block, heat-treated, and coated in satin black. As I understand it, each AW09 wheel weighs 3.7 lbs less than the OEM version without the aero covers. Other colors will be available soon, but currently, satin black is in stock. Additionally, they are developing a revised center wheel cap, offering an alternate option featuring the Cybertruck silhouette instead of the AW logo.
Wheel specs:
Size: 20x9"
Offset: +55
PCD (Bolt Pattern): 6x139.7
Center Bore: 100 mm
Construction: Monoblock Fully Forged
Loading rating: 2580 lbs (1170 KG)
Weight: 31.4 lbs (OEM 35.2 lbs)

My impressions:
- I opted to stay with the factory Goodyear tires for now, and the AW09s seem to offer a great alternative in terms of appearance and size compared to the stock OEMs.
- Prices at Atomic Wheels are significantly lower than others in the market. While I was having my AW09 wheels installed at Discount Tire, a Model S Plaid owner was doing the same with his TSportline wheels. Upon hearing about my AW09s, he visited the website and said that he could have purchased two sets of wheels for the same price as the ones he was having mounted.
- The satin black color complements the overall aesthetic of the Cybertruck and maintains the same color scheme.
- The rugged appearance of the AW09s matches the rest of the Cybertruck's aesthetic.
- Unlike other brands, these wheels are essentially badgeless except for the AW center cap and the word "forged" subtly placed under one of the grooves. I appreciate how the wheels continue the badgeless theme of the Cybertruck, without logos.
- Supporting small businesses aligns with my personal values. After meeting the Atomic Wheels team and learning about the owner's customer-centric approach to product development, I admire his business acumen and am pleased to support his company by purchasing these wheels. I even offered my Cybertruck for Atomic Wheels to use in taking some pictures before the owner took delivery.
