You read it right.
There's a thread about getting too much attention from people but today a dog barked at my CT when making a left turn on my local streets. That cracked me up. He/she was yanking/dragging the leash and the owner trying to keep him/her back on the side walk. It's a small/medium size (sorry I don't know what kind of breed) but angrily coming toward my CT to attack. I don't think the whining safety noise triggered him/her, hybrid/electric vehicles are all over the place now a day.
