My Tesla app has been showing a VIN for about a week with no official communication from Tesla.

Is it normal to have a VIN on the app but receive no confirmation from Tesla at all? I noticed the VIN last week and was never notified, also received no information about potential delivery yet.

The VIN on your app is your notification and you will be informed on your next steps on the app too. If you are close to a SC or one of Tesla’s stores at the Mall you can walk in and ask (with a smile) for an update on where your truck is at the moment.

I’ve had my VIN for two weeks and all I hear are crickets…..

Took me 16 days from VIN to delivery text.

I think I waited about 10 days from when I saw the vin pop up to when I got the delivery window option. I’m sure you’ll get a notification in a few days.

Congrats! It’s well worth the wait.

I called non stop took me down to 7 days from vin

Update: I received the delivery appointment text today. So from order to delivery took about a month total
