So i subscribed to the MyQ app on the CT and for some reason, my garage doors are showing up but the driveway gate that I control with the MyQ Internet Gateway doesn't. I can see it in the app but not in the CT. Any Reason for this?

thank you

Here is the gate arm that I have:

I've never heard that the vehicles support anything more than garage doors.
They only have one "home" location.

The gate is at my home. And for the Liftmaster gate, it is myq compatible. just need the Gateway. No idea why this would be different than the garage door..

Update: Just got off the phone with MyQ Customer support, They did advise that it is only supposed to work with garage doors. With my situation, The rep is expediting a ticket suggestion to incorporate the ability to control the Internet Gateway as well!! Hopefully they do integrate this!

Just use the myQ app on your phone to open gate and garage. I dont like how myQ requires a paid subscription to use the interface with TESLA. Plus as you mentioned, the TESLA interface is not compatible to open gates.

👇This is some serious bulls**t 🤬

I don't understand why CT doesn't come with HomeLink or allow us to add it. For the price tag, it should be included like it was on the 24 Model X. At the very least, give us the ability to add it, like I did with my 22 Model 3.

I'm glad you shared this because I considered upgrading the garage door motor to my q, but I won't do that now.

I'll continue with my workaround, where I'm using Meross to connect my garage door to Siri and can tell Siri to open/close the door.

I had the same issue. I called liftmaster and they told me Tesla would only integrate with garage doors, but not the gate operators. Hopefully Tesla will give us an update for the gate operators. I also wish the CT came with home link. My wife’s Model X has home link and it controls both garage door and gate.

I pay with my model 3 and I don’t no why sure it’s nice when it opens on arrival but that’s about all I do and sometimes is doesn’t even work and I don’t see it on my screen. , my Chevy 2500 is easier with a button on the center of the truck for free and can do up to 3 things

If you’re looking for a weekend project, you can setup homebridge (3rd party software) to add myq to HomeKit (the home app on iOS) and set an automation to open and close your gate when you leave/arrive. Or you can make the automation more complex and use shortcuts to only open the gate when you’re connected to the cybertruck Bluetooth. I have a ghost controls gate so it’s a lot easier, but it’s fully possible with myq. You can also just order a homekit hub for your gate, I don’t remember if liftmaster has an oem product but there are many 3rd party options.

If I remember correctly, the Tesla HomeLink kit cost more.
Yes, and it works. What a great deal vs MyQ which is terrible and doesn’t work without WiFi and a cell signal. Rural America doesn’t have good cell service and often no WiFi is available either. Homelink works.
