Yes. This is so when connects to the network, it tells you a human-readable name. ' (Car) is done charging' you'll get as messages. And it'll ask you when you set it up to replace (Car).

I decided to stick to giving my Tesla vehicles names of space ships from science fiction movies/series.

My Model 3 is named "Serenity" (after Serenity series & Firefly movie)
I will probably name my Cybertruck "Event Horizon" (after the Event Horizon movie)

Other possible names for my Cybertruck that are on my list are:
UNSC Pillar of Autumn (from Halo video games)
Normandy SR-1 (from Mass Effect video games)
Heart of Gold (from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy books)
TARDIS (from Doctor Who series)
Axiom (from Wall-E movie)

We named my MDX after our Odyssey, which was named from Robin William's 2006 movie "RV". The Ody was called Lelu, and now my MDX is called Lelu 2.0.

But now, I am naming my CT "Gapper" due to the ridiculous specs and the immediate acceleration that it sends Porsches & Lambos to Gapplebees .
