Nice! I imagine here in California many versions of Beast are gonna be used if not taken already. How long did it take to get you permanent plate? I’m waiting for my plate so I can order my personalized one.

I'm in CA and ordered 2 personalized plates last December. No VIN is needed because they stay with person not vehicle. I've got CBRBSST and 48VBSST because I was undecided and now will probably sell the 48VBSST plates.

Yeah I tried to order recently and it wouldn’t let me. It asked for the last three of the VIN and the license plate number. Since I only have the paper plate right now I couldn’t get past that step.

I mailed a paper application to order "DYLR OWL", on a 1960's Legacy plate, in January. No VIN needed with the paper application.

I ordered right after I got the invite on 01/18. I didn't configure until 03/15, but I'll be ready with my plate, haha!! I had it sent to my local AAA office to avoid dealing with the DMV.

We just ordered it Tuesday. Was not able to order until we had the first plate numbers. The nice people at the DMV gave it to me ahead of receiving the actual plates. Very nice. That way, I can complete the order online Expect it will be for five weeks to get it.

If your local DMV is nice. Before you receive the actual first plates, they may be able to give it to you from the system. That’s what happened to us on Tuesday. Kind of a bummer the temporary plates don’t allow you to order personalized plates.

. Yes. They were hesitant but once they saw it was in the system they gave it and we were able to order online.
