Those are the car body follies they use for all bodies I believe. I’ve seen those before.

If you look REAL close @ pic 3, you can kinda see the truss system inside the wrap that appears to be protecting the body. Assuming that's actually a body. The company "Ecsar" stamped on there isn't in a convincing industry. ecsar.net

Interesting, do you think this company custom fab'd it for Tesla?

Not gonna lie. The pics are mildly exciting.
This is the kind of thing that makes me say "...it's coming."

I'm keeping cool until I start to see them riding around doing "truck stuff".

It's still early... But. one year from now, does that sound reasonable or rushed? I haven't thought about it that much for the past few months.

The optimistic side of my brain thinks that 1 year from now we will start seeing customer deliveries. Realistically it may still be going out to employees only w/ delivery event in Nov/Dec 2023. We dream.

After digging, I don't think Ecsar is even a "real" company. Tesla legit could be trojan horsing the body around from wherever it was TO Texas.

What I've found:
Ecsar HAD an office in Michigan, appears vacant now

Michigan even marked as "temporarily closed"

Mexico is still a "thing" if you will, but it's a tiny "shack".

Ecsar.net registration was modified in January of this year(coincidence but it was 2 days after the walk around video in Texas that "leaked" on January 23rd), initially registered in 2006.

This could be an R & D shell company doing work FOR Tesla, but it bearing Tesla logo's is interesting at the very least. It could even be a shell corporation that they use to obfuscate people finding them.******this was dumb*******

Here is some of their work on their google reviews. Looks like metal fabbing of sorts.

Not at all unusual to hide things like this. IE codenames, fake address' etc.

Last tidbit I have on Ecsar for now, the only findable employee on LinkedIn is IN SAN ANTONIO... So like, down the road.

Definitely CT chassis. That slope underneath where rear bumper goes is the clincher.
Ecsar does steel manufacturing for other auto's! It's all lining up.

That slope, I think that's where a pressing would be. Wonder if trailer hitch is part of the pressing, and comes stock. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Getting exciting!

Here's what Ecsar officially produces: https://ecsar.net/products.html Are we just looking at the Cyber-duct? It would be an epic troll, for sure.
