New FSD slower than the slow lane

Anyone else notice the FSD on the latest build is slooooooow?

It drives in the slow lane the majority of the time and is always between 3 and 5 miles slower than the sole limit. This is also on city streets. It feels like I am the most cautious 100 year old driver out there.

Regardless if I have the seating for the car to dictate the speed or I get to pick it, the car does what it wants.

I increase the speed and it basically tells me to F off and stays at a super slow speed.

Mine does too. Really a shame. The sexy cars do SO WELL. Next software update should be a pretty big one though. They’re supposed to introduce profiles to the CT so we can set it on “assertive” and it’ll drive like the beast it is.

I basically just crank up the max speed and then manually accelerate to the speed I want. It’ll hold that speed until it hits a slower posted speed limit for the road im on. Still annoying to have to do that but it seems to work.

My guess is that they are still fine tuning things for this boat and hopefully we get profiles and are joined up on the same branch as the other vehicles soon.

Yes, I have done that but I don’t want to intervene.

It's literally worse at driving than a 15 year old on a learner's permit, so, it's apt.
