Some combo of this would be great. Additional windows for a bed camper or a pop up tent that would lie flat from the roof peak.

All my panels are made in house. My panels are 1" frp composite
omomposite and thinner panels in the corners. Same concept hinges on one side only could be flat angle as well

I really like this concept, and admit I've got a paper model of a hard sided popup too! I created this about a year ago, just trying to imagine a cybertruck camper that is hard sided, can stand up in, and more aerodynamic than a typical hard sided truck camper. It's a simply accordian type of fold. Ha!

Your model is much nicer for sure, and you have the resources, which I don't. For your render, aerodynamics is everything, so might I suggest the front accordian fold be set back a bit from the truck peak, so the air flow isn't hitting with a wall, and rather hits at an angle for smooth airflow over the top? Like this sketch:

I'd be keen to buy a ready made shell that I could outfit the insides with on my own. Just as long as it doesn't just sit on the rails, and the bed area is also fully enclosed including floorboard, and 7ft interior unfolded height.

Thanks yeah now that I know I have more length to work with I can drop the topper down to roof level. It can still be flat pack shipped. 2 sides a back panel and the topper bolts right to the lower pod. When not in used all panel disassasemble and can store in garage. Your model is basially my design. Here was my first model about 4 yrs ago
