I do not care for the options you provided. They have alpha vehicles out so 'some' problems have been solved, but that doesn't tell us that most have been solved. We have no visibility into their design or manufacturing processes and never will. I would vote if you had an option: "we will get an update when Elon Musk is ready, if ever, to provide one" and lose the negative one or rewrite it.

I think we'll get a better idea of the dates of things, but not any specific list of features or specs. They tend not to ask/answer specific questions like that on an Earnings Call.

I included the 12/9 chatter which might be more hopeful. Maybe they will be discussing the last 2 months of orders and conversions to non refundable deposits.

I don’t recall, but seems like getting options pricing 11 months out would be unusual.

Specs? Likewise, Tesla usually doesn’t release specs until close to the launch.

I don't know if anyone remembers the Model Y roll out, but it was almost comical how little information there was. We had a target production date, then it just started being produced a few months early to everyone's surprise. People were eager to get details about the height and length, etc and Tesla said nothing. So there were people finding Model Ys in parking lots and setting water bottles next to it for scale.

Bottom line, I think we trucks may be rolling out of the factory well before we get the concrete details we want. But a rough outline of the timetable would be nice. There has been a lot of smoke lately hinting toward another delay.

I think you might be mostly right.

I do think Tesla will do another dog-and-pony show with the Cybertruck before the launch, but maybe not.

We already have the basic specs and pricing. The pricing isn't going to change, the specs will be largely the same (maybe more range) and options won't be available until the trucks are ready to start deliveries. Elon hates it when car makers reveal a great concept car and then water it down when delivery time comes. He's not going to do that, he wants every product delivered to be even better than the product that was revealed. Also, Teslas are always very light on options because they don't believe in having customers pay many thousands more for every little "must have". Maybe a couple grand more for bigger wheels/tires, maybe more for a camping setup, etc. but the basic truck will be very complete once yoou select single, dual or tri-motor. Of course the Cyberquad is going to cost you and probably wont be available until years after the Cybertruck starts deliveries.

So far, he has delivered on meeting or beating revealed prices and specs and anyone who thinks that's about to change had better provide a really good reason why they think it's changed!
