It’s more about the principle than their esthetics; it was part of the truck options and due the customer. Same with the light bar; hopefully all this will be sorted before years end (but I doubt it).

Exactly. They already HAVE our money. This is owed to us. Not once did they even notify me that my truck wouldn’t be delivered without everything I paid for. Even on the day.

At this point does anyone even care about the stupid covers? I’ve seen then in person and heard they rub etc. i would take another 6 months of free charging instead

Tesla will do what they want to do, but they are really doing wrong by providing current buyers with wheel covers before the FOUNDATION owners gets theirs. I get it though. The logistics in sending these covers to everyone after delivery would be a nightmare and super costly. My suggestion to Tesla, which I think they are doing this already is send the covers to the service centers instead of shipping to people’s homes.

Service centers should distribute them on service appointments like tire rotations.

My truck has suffered from the following since delivery:

Missing foundation series items
Middle Console creak when turning
Driver's seat creak from rubbing the middle console
Front dash replacement due to scratch at delivery
Both side rear view mirror creaking when opening and closing doors
Excessive brake dust on rear wheels
Wiper motor replacement
Real sail replacements
Accelerator rivet
Multiple trim pieces replaced
Roof glass replaced due to black banding inside glass
Door panel replaced due to LED light cracks

That's all I can remember right now lol

My driver’s seat and center console are starting to creak as well. As for my seat it is primarily when I turn but also when I accelerate. How did the SC resolve this?

Center console - The SC had to open it and apply foam and sound deadening material on every clip & screw on the inside. Then made sure the front and rear panel was aligned when they reassembled it.

Drivers seat - Mine was rubbing the center console so I used a small velcro square (the soft side) and stuck it on the center console where the seat was rubbing.

Yup...Dropped car off, paid $60 to get home, and like 4 hours later it was done .-.
Picked it up today and the windshield wiper was going WILD. Apparently they didn't calibrate it before I picked it up lol

I guess you didn’t get my “sarcasm”. That’s what I mean…you do want them. My CT was fortunately delivered with them on 9/14…I’m good

Got mine installed. I was in yesterday for the some cable harness guide installation in lynnwood WAA, and asked them about the wheel covers, they were super nice and went to check was there in stock. They came back said there was one set in stock and added the installation into the list. They even asked the night shift to install that for me. Best customer service i ever had in the us among all industries.
